iPhone 13 Preorder tracking thread

I made the same for the 12 Pro last year and i think it got to 38  pages of comments, so thought id try the same this year!

 

Managed to get a 128GB  iPhone 13 Pro Max in silver. I called yesterday to ask about the rumours of waiving early upgrade fees and it actually worked, i didnt have to pay the £100 MyEE was telling me I needed to pay to upgrade. He said it looked like i did have to pay but when he went thru a mock upgrade process it let him say no fee.

Did the order this morning with the same guy who was nice enough to phone back at like 10am to tell me the plans/options they'd have available. About 1:25pm ive had a text come thru with a link that goes to my order tracker page.

Address just shows: Your Address and delivery just says: Awaiting Confirmation. Also the name of the iPhone is showing as `iPhone 13 Pro Max 5G 128GB Silver` so thats a nice bug haha

Kinda sad I’ve not had a dispatch email or notification yet. Nothing showing in my DPD app yet either. 

Called and was told by the first person that my phone is down for within the next 21 days? Then tried again and was told is not yet been received by the supplier so just waiting to hear something hopefully today. I got the iPhone on launch day last year so hoping it’s a repeat this year 

 @awexmafyews DPD have a good updating system and usually the app will detect before they send those emails about delivery slots.
I’ve been preordering iPhones through EE since 2014 I do agree with you on with setting up the phone is alot easier although saying that apple did introduce quick start where you hold both phones together to transfer your data to your new phone see link below 😊  https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT210216

Yeah I had the same thing last year, confirmation email and delivery on launch day. This year I've heard absolutely nothing and nobody on the phone can tell me anything, I've ordered the 1TB Sierra Blue Pro Max. Nothing is showing at all, and when I call in, nobody seems to know what's going on.

Same here, order status showing awaiting confirmation, but it’s with DPD, coming between 11-12 tomorrow 

@Teemeans thank you. Feel like that is a new addition to iOS as don’t remember it last year when I upgraded but will try tomorrow. iCloud is usually super fast anyway but not when the WiFi is running slow with everyone trying the same thing in store. 

Mine is showing on the main DPD screen as “We’ve received your order details and are expecting your parcel shortly” still… but on the tracking history it shows “Parcel collected from sender” at 01:39 this morning.

 

Just hoping it comes tomorrow!

Literally the same as me. The ‘process’ like last year seems wildly inconsistent.


Got my pre pre order (yes that’s a thing for those who didn’t know) at like 12:45 on Friday, told me would be shipping on launch day no prob. 256 Sierra blue pro max.

 

however when you call up, no order number, tracking information, just told on the phone very patronisingly there is no order number to show until it’s out of pre order, that’s why it’s called a pre order. Obviously wasn’t impressed with that. Explained other people have got numbers and I did get one last year and he basically verbally shrugged.

hopefully arrives but have no dpd, email confirmation or anything other than the vague word of ee over the phone.  

@awexmafyewsno worries it’s a new addition that was introduced this year only seen it when I was resetting my iCloud password . But yes iCloud is usually quick!

ive got the email from DPD but have no idea if good or not. 

Edit: Update.

DPD app says ‘collected from sender’ so pretty sure all is well. 

I’ve gone for same one ordered Friday just got an update to say their behind or theirs some technical issues! Have you had any luck with an update on yours the realises date is tomorrow isn’t it
