iPhone 13 Preorder tracking thread

I made the same for the 12 Pro last year and i think it got to 38  pages of comments, so thought id try the same this year!

Managed to get a 128GB  iPhone 13 Pro Max in silver. I called yesterday to ask about the rumours of waiving early upgrade fees and it actually worked, i didnt have to pay the £100 MyEE was telling me I needed to pay to upgrade. He said it looked like i did have to pay but when he went thru a mock upgrade process it let him say no fee.

Did the order this morning with the same guy who was nice enough to phone back at like 10am to tell me the plans/options they'd have available. About 1:25pm ive had a text come thru with a link that goes to my order tracker page.

Address just shows: Your Address and delivery just says: Awaiting Confirmation. Also the name of the iPhone is showing as `iPhone 13 Pro Max 5G 128GB Silver` so thats a nice bug haha

How has everyone elses process been?

the order people are getting their notifications in is a bit random it seems.

I wonder what the cut-off time is by which you need to have received a DPD notification for delivery tomorrow.

I’ve never been able to get an iPhone on launch day. Hopefully this is the first.

Also going off what someone said earlier: anyone here dispatched with an xko order number?

I’ve just had my text saying it’s with DPD and will be delivered tomorrow. Will get a time slot tomorrow by 11. 

I ordered Friday 3pm but had to ring Saturday at 4pm to confirm details and only then I got the order confirmation email. So seems people are getting devices quite awhile after preorders went live.

Generally Apple are out of stock within an hour or two and from working at O2 for previous launches they don’t always get a lot of stock so very happy mines coming tomorrow.

Placed an Order online @ 1:10pm Friday 

Email confirmation came through at 1:15pm

Text came on Sat 8am

Delivery date assigned on Wednesday

DPD app notification came in at 9am

1 hour Slot booked for 12-1pm Friday 24th

BUT !!!

I recommend you to download DPD app and check there because it’s showing me my iPhone will be delivered tomorrow !!!!

Those waiting for time slots download the DPD app and you can choose your time slot . If they have been given your details from EE.

Decided to read my order confirmation (?) email again and it says: “We are processing your order and will let you know when your items will be dispatched.”

This kinda implies that I should have communication regarding when my iPhone will be dispatched not has been dispatched. I haven’t received anything so don’t have the best of hopes.

DPD has emailed. I will have my Iphone no later then 11am tomorrow. So happy

Mine still says awaiting confirmation, but the dpd app let me book a 1 hour delivery slot for tomorrow.

@Teemeans thats a great shout about the app. Just did this and able to choose 12-1 as the earliest.

This will be my 3rd launch day but first time getting it delivered and not heading to the Apple store so interested to see how the experience differs, will definitely be easier setting up my phone with decent WiFi and not trading in my old device straight away.
