Samsung s20 ultra order

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

 

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

@MissRoseGold I have no idea how EE can say it's not poor service on their part? Again, I don't blame them for the phone not being here, but I do blame them for literally no updates. Would it have been hard to just send a message to all 512GB pre-order numbers to let them know that its a case of EE having not received any?

 

For a company boasting about customer service, it's pretty disgusting to just assume customers will sit still and pay full whack for a phone that will be nearly half a year old by the time they get it.

All orders are subject to stock from the manufacturer and we're working with them to ensure we can fulfil orders as quickly as possible.

@MissRoseGold personally I would of waited if we had a date but we don't and it's been like that for 2 months now so, don't see it changing any time soon...

I used the discounts I got on the 128GB model to by a 512GB NVME M.2 drive and little chewing gum size caddy for it, instead of using an SD card.

That way you can get faster speeds then the built in storage and ain't got to keep taking the SD card out, you just unplug the USB c cable from your phone instead.

 

I'm currently typing up a message to send Samsung when I put in the claim and sending all evidence I have, as never received any pre-order confirmation but will let you know the outcome when they reply, fingers crossed they expect it.

@agentjp007 was it the 512GB or 128GB model you pre-ordered?

 

The claim doesn't end till the 31st of May 2020.

 

If you got original preorder conformation, there has been people that have downgraded to the 128GB model (seeing as that's constantly getting stock) and use there original pre-order confirmation for the 512GB and still had there free earbuds.

So good luck.

I first ordered the 128GB phoned to check delivery and they offered me a
512GB for an extra £4 p/m . So I went for the 512GB on the 10th March, I
heard anything about a dispatch or delivery yet

Its amazing the phone you wanted you can't get as no more made but no update the when you reorder another one the lady says next day it will come so I waited in then to find out its not coming until 2days later its a nice phone but I thought Samsung would do something different but it is but it isn't oh well case closed until next year

As promised @MissRoseGold just replying to let you know I sent every bit of information I had for the free Galaxy Buds+ claim, regarding my original pre-order of the 512GB model on 26th of February and my change to the 128GB model on the 28th of April due to nobody having a clue when the 512GB will be in stock two months later...

 

Included a note stating this and claim was validated within a minute or two.

Will let you know if they arrive or if they cancel it.

I have again spoken to Samsung live chat today and they are saying around May 20th, but that was subject to stock.

 

Isn't it always? Plus until it is certain and we have an update from EE.... *sigh*

@David thanks for your advice. All done, cancel. And the money will come back in 3-5 working days, big shame as they take them straight away 🤣🤣🤣.

 

 As everybody can see more than a week I was told I'll receive my money back. LIE. I didn't.

Today is a sixth day after and I decide to call again and see why. The person told me that they give me some account credit instead to send to me because they don't have my bank details. But the person today was able to do that even I didn't give him this details. So they contradict one the other ..... What is this .... ? 

@Leanne_T  can you give me some information how this is possible? Please

update. still no phone and i just received the trade in returns pack for my current/old device and its been like 2 months now
