Pay monthly Vs subscription pack

What's the difference between a pay monthly SIM only bs a PAYG subscription pack?On the face of it 25Gb is £25 on Pay Monthly but £15 on a PAYG subscription pack.Many thanks

Cannot top up by apps

Hiya, I have 3 mobile numbers under my name. One is monthly fee and the others two are pay as you go.I want to top up those PAYG Sims but only one can add on the number ended with 343. The number end with 349 cannot be top up.
