Upgrade device but use other number on plan

I have a plan with two separate phones. One is due an upgrade but the other is not. Can I upgrade the one that is due but then use the new phone with my other number?

Calling numbers are shown as private

Hello,I have a galaxy S9 phone that I bought 4 years ago from Poland. I have recently moved to Cambridge. I bought EE SIM. However, my phone is showing all calling numbers as private. Any ideas how to fix this?
