@Cammyboy997 : Are you on contract or PAYG? You won't have those settings with PAYG.

Hi, I'm using an EE sim for 4gee mobile broadband (i.e. using a wifi router, not a phone, so I can't call 1818).

I've just bought a top-up with my credit card. I can't see an option to turn off Content Lock anywhere in-app or in-browser.

Weirdly, even the moderate default appears to be blocking me from accessing Wayback Machine which I use for work. Anyone know how you turn off this lock?

I'm using a PAYG sim. Surely if I'm topping up with a credit card I can be trusted to turn off content lock? I'm in my 50s 🙂

@Spuddha : As I said in the post above yours, You won't have any of those settings with PAYG.

On PAYG you can't control Content Lock from your MyEE. Instead you need to call EE with a credit card handy & pay a refundable token amount to prove you are over 18.

"pay a refundable token amount to prove you are over 18" - cheers, that I didn't know, I'll give them a call.

I also do not see the settings to remove it.

And as I am abroad for a while longer, I have no way to call 1818.

Any other solution? Can I message you my phone number and you'll sort it out?

@smaertens : No, you can't! This is just user discussion forum which can have no access to your specific account.
