If I placed an order with EE, does it come with EE Hub router support G.fast or will it be openreach certified engineer to attend the property to install g.fast socket and openreach g.fast modem?
My plusnet contract exprired next month still on FTTC 80/20 with them.
G.fast Range A (Clean) | 259.8 | 188.5 | 39.5 | 18.3 | 164.5 | Available | Available | -- | |
G.fast Range B (Impacted) | 215.6 | 154.2 | 27.3 | 13.6 | 140.4 | Available | Available | -- |

Yes, they expect such Qs. I have EE Fibre W/out Landline No. & got these parameters easily from CS.

It will come with the white EE Smart Router which incorporates a G.Fast/VDSL2/ADSL modem. No engineer need visit your home; only the cab.

Is it reliable EE Smart Router as don't want a rubbish router with poor wifi? My master socket got openreach mk4 5C faceplate. I think it need G.fast mk4 5C with g.fast name on it?

The EE Smart Router is basically the same as the BT Smart Hub 2.
You don't need a special faceplate for G.Fast.

will ee smart router show full stats on G.fast eg: line sync rate, max line rate, SNR, errors, and also does it support wifi with max speed of 160meg as EE checker say my line only get 147 but why it lower than BT estimate at 259?

Yes, you'll get the usual full router stats but these BT-based routers have no error stats at all (as I suspect the PN router doesn't either).
802.11ac can deliver speeds in excess of 433 Meg.
EE estimates have traditionally always been lower than BT's & well lower then the BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate, on which it is based, ever since ADSL days. I think BT goes by the Range A figures, whereas EE bases it in the Range B min. Ether way you won't know what you'll get until it's up & running.

Didn't realised it come with 18 months contract. I rather 12 months contract not 18

If the line max rate of 158 to 259Meg will EE be able to upgrade to Fibre Max 300 instead of Fibre Max 100 with my request? As I checked on EE as it say only Fibre Max 100 is available with download speed of 140 to 146Meg for fibre max 100. Can't order fibre max 300 as BTw checker say my line can get up to 259 estimated

OIC! EE are quoting speeds just for Fibre Max 100. That makes more sense.
There's no reason why you can't get Fibre Max 300 there. So I don't see why EE isn't offering it to you.

Pretty daft to be honest. BT.Com say yes they can offer Fibre 250 (g.fast 259) and EE say no only Fibre Max 100. Useless
