EE Perks Discount Invalid

I am trying to upgrade my phone contract using a discount code that was generated directly from the EE Perks Website. I enter the code at the checkout and it comes back as an invalid code. Please can someone explain why this is.

Which plan or package are you looking for, @brendonsmith39?

 

Couple of points to note:

 

  • Sometimes the perk codes aren't recognised when you are connected to a VPN.
  • The perk discount can't be used on special offers or plans that are already discounted
  • If you're on a phone plan, you can't upgrade to a SIM only plan using the Perk discount.

@Christopher_G I'm on a sim only plan upgrading to a phone plan and not using a VPN and not selecting anything on any other discounted offer. These codes are supposed to be able to be entered online only and are not working and have not worked for years looking at when the date of the first time this problem was reported. Is it not about time that the system was sorted out.

The Perk codes do work for the majority of customers and if they don't there's usually a reason why. It's difficult to try and find out why it isn't working for you though From what you've told me, you're doing everything right.

 

I'd recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team so that they can try and add it for you, or investigate why it isn't working.
