I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.
Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%
Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.
You're a disgrace!

One of EE's Complaints Officers phoned me yesterday in response to my complaint about the price hike, he was very apologetic, he didn't like having his contract increased also! and didn't like that he wasn't going to get a 14.4% wage rise!
But he offered nothing to help and told me he'll close the complaint and send through a letter that I can then take to the Ombudsman. I encourage others to do the same, the Ombudsman need to realise that EE have been reckless and greedy with their T&C. No bank would get away with price hikes on loans after a few month, yet EE do exact that.
The Ombudsman need to make recommendations to the regulator that Contracts remain a fixed price for the full term of the contract.

Most other phone companies separate the device plans and the airtime plans to calculate the increase!

Yeah other companies just increase the airtime part of the plan not the whole lot that ee do during the increases and for when the contract ends.

O2 only increase the airtime part of the plan

Yeah other companies just increase the airtime plan and Knick off the device plan after the contract but not ee (extremely extortionate )

Only the airplan which is less than half of the total amount.

Increase should be after the first full year of the contract. iPhone customers get really screwed over buying early

People wonder why I do annual upgrade

The worst thing for me: I’m little over halfway into a 24 month contract. Essential 4GB. £43pm. And yet….
when I look at the tariffs both for new AND existing customers, they’ll be coming on board for a fair bit less AND more data etc.
Can I change tariffs? No. Can EE do whatever they please with my plan & prices? Ha, of course they can.
I’ve been with EE for as long as I can remember. I was with Orange originally and never left. And I’ve never been let down until now.
copy/paste social media replies about how you’re helping the vulnerable and (this one made me laugh) “protecting customers suffering from financial hardship” just add insult to injury.
20+ years of loyalty. I’ll be gone at the earliest opportunity. If you treat your customers like turds, and only change your tune when the contract is nearly expired, you’re doing it wrong.
not that writing this will get me anything or anywhere, but at least I’ve done my bit to add to the voices of other disgusted customers.

did they say that the others split the airtime and device plans
