I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.
Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%
Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.
You're a disgrace!

mid term contract prices are under investigation , but like I say there is more than one way to skin a cat, anybody who has signal issues and the coverage checker states a great service and you can prove a poor signal (just use speed test and screen recorder) , then raise a complaint to EE! Because they will be in breach of the supply goods and service act 1982. I am also waiting for the CEO office to get back to me with a load of information around affordability , credit limits, how CPI etc is explained at point of sale also a copy of my contract!! So keep an eye on my post I will be documenting what I can ,

Hi
I received an email from EE, as from March 31, the monthly subscription will increase by over £11, meaning an increase of over 15%. Such an increase is normal, from 2-3% they reached over 15%.
Thank you and I await your reply.

Clearly an EE employee here defending their precious company.
Jog on busy body. Go and defend corruption elsewhere.

Hi All,
I took out my new plan (iPhone 14 pro max at 81 month plan) in january 23. I got an email today that prices are going up by 14.4% which is fine and what I agreed in T&C.
However, I thought that the price hike will be on the plan value not for handset... As I bought iPhone pro max handset with the plan so I will be paying 14.4% on entire plan (including handset) ...!!
I thought handset price is seperate from the plan value so called the customer services today and they told me that price increase is on entire plan ....
So my iPhone 14 pro max price is £1200 (as per apple store) and now I will be paying 14.4% addition this year (around £170) and same next year (if inflation doesn't come down) so total more I will be paying is £170+£170 = £340 extra for the handset so total cost of my handset will be £1200 + ££340 = £1540 ......!!!! I made a mistake, I should have bought it directly from apple store (they offer at 0% APR) and would have saved me £340 on handset only ... I learnt my lesson ...
I am happy with the plan (minutes+data etc) increase but as handset is also included, it's very steep rise for me ...
customer services are adamant that increase applies on entire plan not just handset which in my case seems unfair as it should be only on plan value not handset .... does anyone else has same issue and what can be done?
Thanks,

@Dave6018 : No, the person he is responding to.

@AJ2023 : EE's contracts have no concept of paying off the handset. You agreed to pay the same price for the full duration of the contract. There will however be a 10% discount 3 months after the end of min. term. You may always choose to upgrade your contract to a cheaper SIM-Only contract from the last 45 days of your contract term.
