Disgusting Price Increase!

I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.

Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%

Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.

You're a disgrace!

I'm sure you won't like any other mobile providers then, they're all doing it. except NVMO, Sky Mobile. They promise they won't

It's in the T&C's you signed up to - see Mobile CPI plus price changes

Everybody on contract has been / will be getting these in next few weeks.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Yes I'm aware of that, every year you expect increases, all the years I've been here you expect 2 or 3% but almost 15% at this time is disgusting and pure greed.

you can leap on defending them pointing out its in the T&Cs but it doesnt justify it one bit, they've absolutely no morals and I hope it bites them on the **bleep**.

I think many forget that a mobile phone is still optional, despite feeling like a necessity

Whats your point exactly? whether its a necessity or not doesnt justify a ridiculous price hike for no reason whatsoever other then to line their pockets, its not inline with inflation in anyway.

people budge for small increase, this is just a **bleep** take

All the providers are putting it up on average 12% this year, is it right? during this crisis, no. However they can charge what they like

At the end of the day they could choose to not hit people even harder, do they have to do everything that everyone else is doing? No, its a choice to screw people over and cash in on it to keep the ridiculous profits through the roof.

There used to be a time when businesses like this would want to fight for custom and offer competitive prices, now its all about profit

Cant agree more. I’ll be moving to Smarty once my contract is up. We’ll also be looking to move our 200+ company mobiles away from EE. Since one of the things taken into account when calculating RPI is mobile phone costs they should be banned from doing this without offering people immediate exit, as it stands its a positive feedback loop for them.

You're right, thanks for backing me up.

They just dont care about their customers one bit, over 20 billion profit last year so lets crank it up 15% and screw people over even more, no morals whatsoever

Maybe i'm just not that salty as my £17 bill is only going up to £20, give or take. going up £2.38 and for the service they provide, I think it's fair. Would I like it to be the £15 a month that it was 2 years ago? yes, but there you go, everyone has their limits
