Resolved! not sure about new phone with old sim

I'm with EE but bought a new phone that I have had to top up when purchased. Can I just put my old SIM in the new phone? Do I keep my old number, what happens to credit on existing credit and new credit with the phone?

Cancel a pay as you go SIM

I recently spent a week in the UK where I purchased an EE sim card to use in my iphone.  I have returned to the US and no longer have need of it.  I don't want it to automatically renew.  How can I cancel it?
