Pixel 8 pro pre order

Hi all have the pixel 8 pro on pre order it's due to be released tomorrow but on my tracking it still says awaiting delivery date confirmation. Has anyone elses tracker updated or will it just be delivered tomorrow?

I had this a few months ago when I ordered a set of Pixel Buds. A week went by with no sign of them. Got hold of CS, only to be told that DPD had tried delivering them 3 times and failed so they'd been returned to EE and my order cancelled. I'd had no notification from either company that they were on the way and it looks like the same is going to happen with my phone. I've left my living room window open and a note to the driver in the hope he'll stick it through the window!

Interesting, thanks.  When I get the pixel fold the watch came in the box, but that was direct from Google.

Why can't EE plan for pre-orders to be in customers' hands on launch day like most other suppliers?

You have to apply for the watch in a couple of weeks in the Google Rewards Program.

Was just heading out after being told my phone wouldn’t arrive for 28 days by Customer Services and DPD showed up with the phone! 😂😅 

Basically anyone who’s been told timeframes by EE customer service just ignore it and cross your fingers instead!

EE has f****d it up. No updates on their tracking website, nothing on DPD website.  DPD courier showed up this morning with EE parcel. I talked with him through the Doorbell camera, it was my EE Pixel 8 order! He couldn't wait or leave it with the neighbors. Contacted CS, they're telling me my order is still with them... What joke... I'm curious how they gonna handle it now...

I'm still waiting for the store to let me know when they've got the delivery in store for me to go and pick up mine and my wife's pro's.

I gave them a call today about the issues.

To be honest, got the most blunt person I have ever met over the phone.

Got pretty much told that, there is a queue, which is the time you order it. 

It will be delivered by that. 

They cannot give a time on what it will be delivered. 

And all I can do is wait until DPD send me a message, with the details. 

Understanding that there might be over 1000 orders. 

But a colleague of mine ordered him from Carphone Warehouse and it's getting delivered today. 

So it confuses me how some EE, how big they are.

Cannot at least better track or even inform you that the phone may not be with you until a certain date.
