Data gifting not working

I have a reoccurring problem when I cannot gift data, the app does not work and I cannot gift on the website (desktop or mobile). I am on the verge of leaving EE as i've spent literally days speaking to them and nobody seems to be able to tell me why or offer a fix.

I'm having the same problem. 

I've tried deleting and downloading the app again. I've also tried from a PC and it's still the same. I have four accounts in one plan, but what is the point if I can't use it to my advantage. 

Networks from other company's are just as good where I live so I think unfortunately it's time to move.

How long have you had this error message showing when you try and gift data? 

Is the main number in the UK or roaming?

Mine went on for weeks and after 7 hours with customer services on the phone over the weeks and being passed from pillar to post with many broken promises I’ve reluctantly had to go to another provider. 

I have had this for 3 weeks now. Just tried there and it still says: 

We will have it fixed soon

Yes I have been able to gift before, but I have also received this message before stating I cannot give data.

Before, it would only be a few days, but this has been weeks now.

Have you tried doing it both in the EE App and through the EE Online desktop site, @Kieronwood?

Wow almost 12 months this has been going on, yes for some its better than it was but seems for many the problem still exists.
Shocking from a tech company really.

If you speak with our Mobile Care team, they will be able to check your account and gift the data manually for you, if needed.
