Gifted Data Speed Query

Can anyone please advise - I have an allowance of 100gb data which I share with 2 family members whose lines are on my account. The two family members only have about 1.5gb of data and rely on me to share mine every month. I have just checked to see if they are ok for data and they are still using the data I gifted but it says "using stay connected data" - from what I can tell it looks like this data will run on a much slower speed. Is this correct?

Stay Connected data runs at 0.5 Meg speed but if they are still using your gifted data they should be running at their full speed.

Are they in UK?

So should the gifted data actually be showing as stay connected data?
