Additional line

Hi, I have just joined EE from Sky. I want to add additional lines to my account for my children, however, when I try to do it online  or via My EE app it won’t let me do it & asks me to call up. Can anyone explain why?

Bt account to ee account

I am a BT customer and as BT and EE are now partners I was told that I could get better deals on mobile hand sets. Am having trouble with this.  How do i link my bt and EE accounts together to save the hassle of double work?  Thanks
