Is there still problems with the add-ons in the EE app

Not using the device it’s for as it’s abroad. Using either my iPhone phone or iPad or iMac.
I could add data by texting 150 but it shouldn’t be this difficult especially as it’s a know issue. Also I tend to find the app is more about trying to flog you stuff than actually being able to manage your devices or buy add ons especially on PAYG.

@Fleagle : You need to be connected to the device you want to add data for to use the EE Add-data link.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Thanks, I just want to add data to my daughter’s phone while she is abroad and I’m in the U.K. I used to be able to do it via the app or online but EE is trying to make it as difficult or actually impossible for me to do.

@Fleagle : Yes, you don't need to be connected directly to the device to add data via the EE a/c but as you say it is erroring.
