How many people have got the new WiFi 7 router. I got text message and been on phone none stop. Been told should be getting new router last week. Still nothing and when go on chat. Get told not able to have it. Even though I’m a new customer and have the 1.6gb package and pay £79.99

@Daisyt90  Do you already have an EE router?  If you do you’ll not get this new router.   Your contract is for what you got supplied with it.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Yeah I’ve spoke to them. And said you will get WiFi 7. As the WiFi 6 Is capped. Running 2.5 LAN port on my pc. So need the new router if they won’t change it no point me paying £80 a month for 1.6gbps.
the speed I’m getting now.

You sure you've got a 2.5 Gig ONT? What's the router's BB Status say is your WAN speed?

Yeah new ont put in and was told it was for the 1.6gbps. Only been with them for a month. They sent out the old WiFi 6. When I’ve spoke to them they have said I will get the new router.  And they emailed the specs.

Sorry, I'm not interested what EE promised or estimated for you. Best intentions & all that! I'm only interested in what the router is seeing what's actually happening now in earnest.
