Hello, Hope someone can help...If I get a plan with unlimited data, I understand that this isn't unlimited and there's an amount...Does anyone know what this is, or where I can find the answer?
Also, can I use my mobile phone to tether to my Sky HD box and download catchup etc using the data from my plan.
Thanks for any info.😁

@chris1smith It’s 600Gb per month and yes you can tether.

Hi @chris1smith
Welcome to the EE Community 😊
I hope you're well and having a nice weekend, are you up to much or is it a chilled one?
600Gb is a lot of data. To put it into perspective I recently looked into how much data I use on my home broadband each month, and it was just over 300Gb.
That's with three of us in the house, with multiple streaming services and a gaming console being used.
Thanks
Chris

Thank you for your reply that's very helpful.....I want to use my phone plan to tether to my Sky HD box, is it easy to do, and will it stay connected or do I need to connect each time I want to download this? Do you have any ideas?

@chris1smith I'm glad that helped 😊
Tethering It's fairly simple to do, just turn on the hotspot on your phone and connect your Sky HD box the same way you would connect to WiFi.
It should stay connected as long as you have the hotspot turned on. However staying connected for long periods may run your battery down faster, so keep an eye on that.
Thanks
Chris
