@Valiow  Is your new phone a unlocked device?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

yes it is, status is showing disconnected

Hi @Valiow,

Does the new SIM card work in the old phone?

Can I ask why the SIM swap was done? Was it a new SIM card you got with an upgrade?

Alex 🙂

Redmi8T new ‘phone (first iPhone), so had had to get new sim. Have done instructions given. Now have old ‘phone with invalid sim. New ‘phone shows sim registered but service status – Out of service and Mobile network state -Disconnected.

Hi @Valiow,

Thanks for coming back to me.

Does the Redmi 8T hold a Nano size SIM card? Is this a different size SIM to the iPhone you were using?

Where did you purchase the new phone? Is it unlocked to any network? Do you have another SIM card you can try in the new phone?

Alex 🙂

Redmi –yes nano

Yes different size, old ‘phone – old flip ‘phone not iPhone

Purchased online, unlocked

No other SIM to try 😒

Hope you receive reply this time
