I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.
Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

People who ordered from Samsung are getting getting their DPD texts now so hopefully they've sorted the issue with stock

Will give it until Monday and if it's not here or on its way but others report that theirs have arrived I'll order from Samsung and cancel with EE.
At the end of the day delays happen but the lack of communication and having to wait having pre-ordered it the day it was released on EE is not on. Its a premium phone which I'm paying a premium price for on EE yet it's far from a premium service So far.

Just looked at the Samsung site they quoting Oct 3rd for shipping.

Well I was promised after getting messed around for 6 days straight on the pre -order for the Z Fold 2 that I would be getting my device on launch guaranteed by the ee rep on the phone and was the only reason I decided to order at the changed prices (BTW did anybody else notice that after the pre orders went live on the 1st, the next morning the tariffs all increased and by upto £16 in some cases).
I find on this forum that a number of us are not getting our devices but other customers who ordered later are getting shipping dates confirmed.
This is almost exactly the same as what happened with the iPhone X pre orders. Those that ordered first online (like in the first few hours when the pre orders went live) got overlooked because of a computing error and were told 3 weeks later that they wouldn't receive the phone until weeks after launch despite being first in line.

Vodafone & 02 are both saying that they will deliver the Fold within 2-6 days - Giving their customers a time period. I'm wondering if some stock came in over night with these companies??

I'm cancelling my order this morning. Going with O2 over 12 months. Unlocked too so will use with my rolling EE sim. EE needs to seriously get to grip with how their pre orders are processed. Keeping customers updated would prevent the wrath of calls and messages they receive as a result.

Hey all,
Morning, so I have an update after my latest text chat. Ee are claiming they now have items in stock according to their systems and expect dispatch on Monday. We should be recieving our text messages shortly.
Take it with a pinch of salt of course...but thought I'd provide you guys with my latest update.
Would be good to hear from the people that recieved the dpd text messages yesterday as to whether they had received their phones

It's the 'digital care team' that I spoke to so I'm guessing it might be customer services. Still on with them now as I've asked to speak to the manager for further reassurance lol
