Samsung galaxy fold z release

I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.

Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

Thanks

@mikeyhmikey12how did you go about that mate? Just call up and demand the upfront cost be repaid?

I ordered the Mystic Black online on the 02 Sep 20 at 15:29.

Pre-Order confirmed via email and on tracking on the 02 Sep 20.

Received “Your Order is on Track” via email and on tracking on the 09 Sep 20.

Updated on the 16 Sep 20 via email and on tracking “Good News, Your Order is Coming Soon” and to back up my old phone. With the order being additional line, no phone to back up.

The expected delivery date on tracking hasn’t changed since I ordered, still reads “Awaiting Confirmation”

Had no further updates since, with work and life not had the opportunity to call or go on the chat service to chase - but been following this thread.

Getting rather frustrated with the lack of info - Expected at least some detail from EE.

This is a present for my fiancées birthday which is early next week and like most folk we have busy lives and more important commitments than working around unknown delivery dates.

I just repeated that other networks where they haven't offered the pre
order seem to be getting the phone before us and that taking all this time
to wait around for a phone that should have come and that being told
something different by every member of EE has really taken the **bleep**.

Then just basically stick around on the line until they speak to a manager
dude - that seemed to work

I feel your pain.

I have the exact same messages and emails like you.

Still no dispatch/confirmation date.

  • I've heard nothing and been fobbed off by various staff promising next week, maybe Monday or dont know anything! I've had £7 reimbursed as a 'good will gesture!' Been with ee for years and orange before that. Just want an answer, happy to wait if I know whats going on!

Hey peeps,

Long story short, after having a huge rant, he told me that I will have my item DELIVERED TO ME on Monday as they don't deliver on weekends (even though some of you guys got the dpd text.. lol).  He is also putting my complaint through to the complaints team and I'd expect a call back in the next 24 hours as I specifically stated that I want some form of compensation due to poor communication and item not arriving on time.

I actually had one person saying that sometimes pre ordered items take days to be dispatched due to first come first serve.  I was then clear that beats the whole purpose of pre order and people who have pre ordered their items are all 'first come first serve'....which is why we pre order!!!!!!!! God sakes lol

Thats good news Mashraf86! Have you been given any visual confirmation from anyone over the phone about your Monday delivery?

Hey @ziggymon . No visual confirmation but I explicited stated during the text conversation that if you are incorrect, be warned as I'm recording a transcript of this conversation and will be additional ammunition for my formal complaint as you had provided incorrect information.  Regardless of that, he claimed I should receive it on Monday.

So it's either I get my phone on Monday...and if I don't....I'd expect further form of compensation as they have provided incorrect information to an irate customer just to stop the conversation. 🙂

Excellent stuff Mashraf86!

I think now the absolute minimum we all should be requesting is the same form of compensation that Samsung customers got regardless of the time people get the phone. Simply due to no communication and outright lies.
