Mobile network not working

'Your iPhone cannot make and receive calls or access mobile data until it has been updated' - tried resetting network settings, airplane mode, sim card out and in etc, none have worked. Help please

If you go into Settings > General > About, do you get an option to update carrier settings? 

 

Is your software up to date?

Yes the error occurred following an update to iOS 14.4

An no option to update carrier settings

No, no other phone to try the sim in and no other sim to try the phone with
