Disgusting Price Increase!

I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.

Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%

Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.

You're a disgrace!

You're absolutely right... nothing said in this forum will change a thing. You should definitely raise a complaint with EE about any specific concern you have. My complaint is that I think EE are unfairly applying the CPI+3.9% increase to the cost of the handset loan which I was led to believe (mis-sold?) was included in the price of my plan through the Sales process but am being pointed now to a contract that makes no mention of the handset.

I am not arguing the general cost increase, despite the fact I do think it challenges morals and fairness whilst being unjustifiably necessary.

You don't have to call them. As someone posted before, you can write your complaint on the form at the bottom of this web page https://ee.co.uk/contact-ee/complaint

Price increase is ridiculous with everything else what is going on, we should all say NO to inflation, pay your normal bills do not give into their demands, they make enough money, others are cheaper they don't need this much money, if they don't like it then we leave them and we don't pay them a single penny! who's with me!

It is Everything Everywhere Limited founded in 2010 and went live in 2012 according to every search on the web 🤷‍♂️  Maybe someone at EE got it wrong…nothing new there 🤣.   Should stand for Every Excuse perhaps 🤷‍♂️

@GerrySkull  Perhaps you should read something more up to date

Like THIS    Or THIS  or THIS  I could go on if you wish.

Yeah it is, I'm not paying it, and I'm going to leave EE when my remainder contract ends, not going to be the inflation sorry that is too ridiculous, I'm already paying ridiculous prices, and I hear the bosses are making million a year, they don't need to charge us the extra and tag it as an inflation fee. It is a scam

I stand corrected.

No matter what they call themselves, they are still Extreme Extortionists to me and hundreds of thousands of others who feel that a price hike of over 14% is just treating customers like dirt for obscene profits.  If the average increase is £5 per month, they stand to make around 100 million more each month and that is a conservative estimate 🤷‍♂️ Just because other companies are raising their prices shouldn’t mean that it’s ok for EE to do the same.  Lead by example and treat the 17.5m customers with respect and it will be shown back rather than make a killing when we are struggling on all fronts.  Whoever came up with this strategy should get sacked.

Obscene is the only way I can describe it.

Nah price increase that  much is ridiculous, especially in this economy you must be rich or work for EE, there's nobody that will endorse that kind of price increase and I won't pay it, and I'll leave EE and we should all leave EE to teach them a lesson, EE is just overpriced.

Well well looky here, someone who works for EE support team is defending EE's price hike, wow good one m8 we all still leaving EE. Enjoy it while it lasts.

m8 it is simple math, you be good to your customers, customers will continue to come back, look how big Amazon is because they put customers above everything else, people keep going back to Amazon because they are worth it, EE are not, stop defending EE you work for them silly.

I want to also say this comment, the King of England should knight you sir, you speak the truth and with grace, I  am 100% leaving EE as well, if all of us leave EE they will start putting the price down, its ironic, latest technology means nothing in these times of hardships and strife. You are so correct, with everything you said. Goodbye EE it was nice when you used to be cheaper.
