Disgusting Price Increase!

I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.

Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%

Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.

You're a disgrace!

if I was the Billy Big Bollox at EE I would have taken the opportunity to NOT increase prices by this massive ridiculous percentage. By doing that, just imagine the happy customers that would stay and renew their contracts and the millions of new customers they would gain in the process! EE you have made a huge mistake and ultimately your huge profits will suffer! Greed will be your downfall.

Thank you

Workers on Amazon aren't being held at gun point to work, if they want to leave they are free to do so, this is still about good customer service that keeps customers going back to Amazon, EE are nothing like that, and because of that we are all leaving them.

I don't think there is anyone with Big Balls at EE. If there was, they'd stand up for fairness and try to diffuse this situation.

I feel for the moderators on this chat.

Yeah m8 clearly there is no fairness in EE, and the moderators did stand up but for EE not the customers, but being working for EE and thus being biased trying to defend EE, and standing up for something you're biased on makes it redundant. Bosses at EE need to think about it, cost of living crisis, poor economy can't afford electric bills, can't afford food bills, and need phone for work or to contact our children if they are in trouble, yet all the company can think about is latest technology and money, how evil are they now?

If anything if they reduced world wide costs of all contract phones by 14% instead because of the inflation, I would stay with EE, doing it for what it right and just for the people, instead of doing it for greed and power or simply because inflation is the excuse. The one's in charge make millions a year, I think they can sacrifice during times of crisis for all of us to live a better life? Is what a real man does.

Overall since I got my contract almost 2 years ago my phone prices has went up 25% - that was data + phone - but surely they have already bought the phones they sell you so that is scam right from the off.

Looking at their website as my contract ends on 1st April (lucky) and there's no mention on the deals being offered that they are going to increase a few weeks after you take them out - definately false advertising and should be investigated by trading standards.

Fortunately there are other mobile companies which I am now actively exploring - been an EE customer for over 10 years, but the way things are going I'll be bailing to someone else - they can't be any worse than EE for bumping up prices. The increase is infltion or something PLUS another 3.9% - that's just greed nothing elses.

Incidentally they blocked me on twitter for taking them to tak over it - hide the bad publicity sweep sweep sweep - the sahreholders must all be Tories!

Hi @Mikey-Mike

Plans taken out after March 1st 2023 will not be impacted by this years price change. However, if you take out a plan after March 1st 2023, you will be subject to the annual price change in 2024.

I hope this helps,

Katie
