I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.
Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%
Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.
You're a disgrace!

I’ll definitely be leaving EE as soon as I can….
You will need to make sure that the lack of an inflation-based annual price increase is factored into your future telecoms buying decisions. However, be aware this is common across the industry and you may struggle to find a major provider who doesn't have one.

Just received a message stating that the monthly cost of all 4 EE phones in our household will be going up. It'll total nearly £20 extra a month. I know its in the terms and conditions but I've had enough. We'll all be leaving EE as soon as we can and going SIM only with a cheaper provider.

Inflation-linked mid-contract price-rises are commonplace across the UK telecoms industry, and you will struggle to find a major provider who doesn't impose these.

Thank you for your response…..
so…..
what happens if inflation drops in March, will EE adjust customers percentage increase in line with this.
As stated by the Bank of England prediction inflation rates have now peaked and are due to fall to 4% by the end of the year, can you therefore can you confirm that EE will be lowering the 10.5% increase (not inc the 3.9% EE contractual agreed amount) in line with inflation if that is the case?

Hi @MULLY2
Many providers will change their prices at any time during customers’ contracts with them. We have been upfront about our price changes when customers agreed to their contract, and we are using CPI as a measure for these increases.
Our customers rely on us for connectivity more than ever, it’s crucial we continue to invest in our networks, services and the latest technology.

Good morning @Lorraine76.
We'll use the CPI from December each year (which is published one month later in January) and then add 3.9%.
Thanks,
Katie

There are plenty of providers around that don't increase prices in this way and just as good quality as EE, some even on the same network as EE like 1p mobile and Plusnet and EE PAYG
I don't know what features / coverage you need but the likes of Smarty / Tesco / Giffgaff can be attractive to younger people or those that are happy with a no frills service.

What a surprise a price increase in line with inflation .I work for the NHS and sadly like a lot of people we haven't had a pay rise in line with inflation to help us all with our bills
