I've been trying to get in touch from abroad but it's impossible, says I need to contact customer service and it does not work.
I can't afford my bills anymore and I need help on how to cancel without paying the fees or stop my service in order to not pay anymore until I can do it again.

You can't just cancel w/out charge. You made a contract with EE to pay for at least a min. term.
Contact CS urgently to come to some sort of repayment plan - see Help if you can't pay your bill

It's still working, but I am really short of money right now and I will not be able to pay it soon, I lost my job and had to move back to my home country where I haven't found antoher job yet.
