Not so rapid phone repair - google pixel 7 pro

I have just been in store to take a phone for repair, and was told that they don’t do loan phones even through boards in advertise it, also was told that it would take 14 days for repair how is this a rapid repair?

WiFi

WiFi on my mobile works if I am at home but otherwise says not connected.  Not had this problem before.  How do I fix this please?  Mobile phone signal states good thank you for your help regards Leigh
