I canceled my contract at EE office for my tablet on the 1st of October 2025

I cancelled my contract for the tablet in the Canary Wharf office on the 1st of October and they told me this had been done.  I received a letter stating that I could stay on my current plan.  I do not want a plan for the tablet.  It was paid off.  Please confirm that this contract was cancelled.
