Cyber Security offer won't activate

My cyber security offer won't activate without an EE mobile number - even though I have the full broadband package and a landline! Help! When I try to activate via the EE app on my mobile it says "try again later" every time!

Resolved! Suspicious call

I've had a call from a mobile number 07518445790 claiming to be able to reduce my bill  by 30 to 40%. Has anyone had this?  I was very suspicious, they wanted me to confirm personal details so I hung up.
