Annual Identity Check powered by Norton

Sean_D
Former EE Community Manager

Your personal information isn’t something you want a cybercriminal to use to commit identity fraud. Our annual online identity check can help you know if your personal info has been found on the dark web.

In partnership with Norton™, the annual identity check gives you an easy, fast way to find out if personal information linked to your email like passwords, bank or credit card numbers have been found on the dark web.

All you have to do is visit EE Cyber security, click ‘check my email’, log in to your My EE account and enter your email address and we'll do a scan. (You can check one email address per year.) Once the scan's been done, you'll see the results.

How does the Annual Identity check work?

Powered by NortonTM a leader in Consumer Cyber Safety, once you enter your email address Norton scans for your personal information on hard-to-find dark websites and forums. It is important because identity thieves can buy or sell your personal information to commit several illicit activities.

Do I have to pay for the Annual Identity check?

No  - you can check one email address a year as an inclusive benefit with EE.
