had calls from all these numbers today saying they’re from EE and offering a 40% discount promotion, when they asked how much my last bill was, and since they were all Indian voices, I hung up; assuming it was fraud. When I searched the numbers through my HIYA security app, they were all landlines apparently from cafes! I’ve blocked all the numbers, but there’s obviously a big scam doing the rounds! They must have hijacked some dormant landline numbers I’d think.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi
I had a scam call today offering me a 40% discount on my contract!
The 'caller' asked me for my email address - i replied that EE had my email address on record and I'd rather do another security question from my account! He continued to ask for my email address to which I replied you are clearly a scam and hung up!!!
Cheeky bugger then actually called me from another number saying we'd lost connection - no ok bloody hung up!!! Lol

They are also sending texts that come from ee customer service with a pin to verify

Good morning @Kevtr
Welcome to the EE Community!
There are quite a few different services within EE that involve a PIN being sent, and whilst I can't say with 100% certainty what happened during this call, if you're at all unsure if a call is genuine it's always best to err on the side of caution.
It's worth taking a look at the list of numbers that @Ali_A shared earlier in this thread, and if the number shows as something different then there's a strong chance the call won't be genuine.
