I was recently called on my mobile from 01234232738. My phoned warned me "Suspected scam". I answer these calls anyway, as the phone isn't always right. After some kerfuffle in the background, a guy with Asian accent asked me if I had any issues with my EE service & how was I finding it. I said that everything was OK. He said that as I had paid my bills on time, he could offer me a discount on (or from?) next month's bill. I decided not to go any further & ended the call.
Looking up that number doesn't show many hits on the "who called me" type websites, but one person said that the caller knew their details, but didn't actually say which details. I see that it's not listed on EE's list of numbers, so must be a scam.
So, yet another number to avoid.
