Activating a new sim card

My son lost his Sim card so I ordered a new one from EE. To activate it I am told EE says it sends a six digit pin, however he has not received a text. I'm not sure what the problem is, and whether it's to do with his phone. ThanksJane

Still receiving promo from old network

I switched from vodafone to ee and ported my number successfully. Its been 2 months since I joined ee. But I am still receiving promotional text messages from voda. There is an option to stop those messages but it only works for voda sims/numbers. Ha...
