I'm trying to transfer my phone number from BT to EE on a sim-only contract. I placed the order on 28th July, BT cut me off on 1st August. An EE sim arrived that day and it didn't work. I've spent hours on the phone, people have promised to come back...

When filling in the form for my EE sim I was asked for my pac code and number to transfer. After activation will this automatically happen or do I have to do it again. Moved across as recommended by Plusnet so I thought this would just be a formality...

How can you call number when you have no phone until you receive pin ?then you text pin to phone that isn't working yet, madness. why not email this?
