Converting to eSIM

I have an iPhone and I would like to convert to eSIM since I'd like to add another SIM to my phone. I have pay monthly SIM only contract and I wonder if anybody has done it. I wonder if there are any down sides of converting to eSIM.Tom

Sim issue

New sim received as old one faulty.Inserted without problem.  No EE connection  just says emergency calls only where EE should be. I've switched off and on again but no difference.  Can't contact EE because can't use phone.Any advice?

Replacement Sim hasn’t arrived

Is this true that I got told by someone at the EE store on Southampton that on the Google pixel 8 and have two sim cards and an downloadable esim card into the phone?
