My number hasn’t changed over

I swapped from O2 to EE but my phone number hasn’t caught her over yet. I can receive iMessage and what app but normal texts or call are coming through my old phone.

A port-in is usually set for the working day after you submit your PAC, and can take until the evening to fully complete.

When did you submit your PAC? And thus by extension, when is/was your port-in date? Have you received a text message to confirm port-in is complete?

Usage of WhatsApp merely confirms your phone has a working internet connection. Behaviour such as you explain, is perfectly normal during the porting process.
