Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

I preorded at 1pm on the 13th had a confirmation email then nothing. I rang up yesterday only to be told by a very sleepy yawning agent there were no orders on the system and I would have to order again.
I placed about 4 orders yesterday and seemingly they had the same problem as well, then got a call last night from EE's fraud team that two of the orders were sucessful and they wanted to check if they were legitimate. So i've now placed five orders and only two actually managed to get through.
So i had to ring up today and cancel one order and now I'm going to have to wait for 28 days to get a phone that I ordered a week ago. I've even lodged a complaint and had £20 knocked off my next bill.
It so frustrating becuase you can't blame the agents you speak to it's EE's systems at fault.

Hopefully that will the case for me, had confirmation email but nothing else. I’ve seen a few post with people saying that they had confirmation emails but then contacted EE to find the order wasn’t placed and would need to order again. I’m hoping that’s not the case for me 🤔

I have had the same issue! I have an email confirmation from 13th with my order in and my trade in details! I contacted EE this morning to see if there was any tracking information to be told there must have been a glitch in the system and I need to put my order through again and can take upto 28 days to get a new phone! so annoyed!

I've just spoken to customer service to check my order as I pre ordered 2 x 16 Pro Max in Natural Titanium on 16th - I wasn't expecting I would get them today but they told me all phones except the Pro Max are shipping next day but its up to 21 days wait for Pro Max models.

So today being the release day i placed my order with EE on Friday and I haven't received any confirmation on a rough delivery idea? I ordered the nee ultra watch 2 in black and that was delivered today but nothing on the new iPhone, I don't suppose anyone has any rough idea of when to expect it? Thanks.

16 Pro Max 1TBx2 (Natural titanium) and Ultra watch 2 in Black and one in Titanium arrived earlier on
What I am still waiting tracking is a 16 Pro which I doubt is coming today as no notificaiton yet

I have noticed from my own experience that EE live chat are almost useless. Thankfully yesterday I did have someone who was helpful and actually resolved my issue, but 9 times out of 10. Pointless. Better off speaking to someone.

Hi iv just received my iPhone 16 pro max and when I press the side button or volume up and down there is like this black shock wave if you wanna call it that has anyone else had this ?
