My phone sounds robotic or disconnects

Did you ever get the problem sorted im experiencing it now ive recently switched to ee about 10 weeks ago and all people say to me is my phone sounds robotic or disconnects I also have to use WiFi calling 

Unable to receive sms

I’m unable to receive sms text messages on my iPhone XS Max. I can text 150 and receive messages from 150 but I can’t receive any other sms messages.
