Text messages not working on new phone

My wife has a new phone and it will not allow text messages in or out. They just dhow as failed error zero

Hi,this same here.Full 4g signal and no internet.looks like EE don not provide the internet over 4g ;(I’ll swap to different provider as soon my contract will end.

Resolved! Text charges abroad

I have been charged for RECEIVING 20 texts whilst travelling abroad ( Qatar and Seychelles) … £15.96.all the texts were from EE I didn’t open the texts until I got home. I was told RECEIVING texts was free.What’s happening here ?

Can someone make sure roaming is on my account you have put on a 30 minute bu due but I'm in Egypt and my phone refuses to connect to the network,despite doing the same previous years without issue. Douglas Ballard
