Re: Going abroad

Hi Leanne,

I activated Roam Abroad midway through June as I was off to Italy and left it running as I’m returning mid-August. I assumed that you paid as you went but was told yesterday that it restarts on 24th each month, is that right? If this is true, I am in Italy until 27th August, so should I remove the pass on 23rd August and then pay the £2.29 per day, as that would avoid another £15 charge?

Hope that makes sense!

Hi @KVet79

Thanks for coming back here 🙂

If you cancel during your monthly billing period you’ll be charged £15 for the full month, not just for the days you had the pass.

If you don't want the Roam Abroad Pass for another month you would need to remove this.

Hope you have a lovely time.

Leanne.

Yes, you should stop the Roam Abroad Pass on 23th Aug to save paying the £15 for it from the 24th. Then you'll just be paying £2.29 for each day roaming from 24th to 27th Aug & then only on the days that you actually use any of your UK allowances.
