Notification after update

Since updating the iPhone app, it’s showing I have 1 notification and I can’t clear it? I’ve tried looking at all sections of the app to see if there’s something I’ve to action, but it’s still there and I can’t clear it. Anybody else have/had this problem?

You need to also look into your chat support people on the app. They tried to make me factory reset/wipe my phone which clearly they had not a clue about and misleading people to large unnecessary attempts to fix. One of a few terrible chat support sessions I have had with them.

Thanks for the feedback, @Mechanix33.

Although a factory reset can help with some app/notification issues. I'm not sure it would help in this case.

I am also having this problem.  I had to dip into the support chat for a separate issue and ever since I have had 2 notifications on the app.  I have reloaded all the chats and scrolled through it all but makes no difference.

That’s exactly what I feel triggered mine, it’s when I used the app for support. Also everytime I go into app, I have to login every time I set up Face ID because of the fact I don’t want to login using email and password every time

Exactly correct with the annoying pain of having to always login. It’s so messy. Now I notice it has removed the names I had assigned to my 2 phones I use on the account. Just messy bugs everywhere. Rub it out and start again EE

Hi. I had the same 2 problems. You can fix the name issue by allowing the app to use your contacts. My 5 lines all went back to the names. The setting is in the app. Looking forward to RE fixing the annoying notifications. Like most people in the thread, this happened when I attempted to use the Chat facility.

Hi all - I have the same issue. 2 notifications apparently from the iPhone home screen but nothing actually to be notified about. I also can't turn off notifications for the MyEE app as it doesn't appear on the notifications list so I can't even mute notifications. iOS 16.0.3 on an iPhone 12.

HI - any date on this fix please? I always try to have no notifications on my phone (it kind of triggers me for no apparent reason) - but there is no way I can clear these from my EE app 😣
