where’s the live chat gone from the account when you go contact us it only gives me “call us” can someone explain to where it’s gone all of sudden as I need to speak to someone.

You can access live chat by tapping the help icon at the bottom of the screen in the EE app.

The SIM activation isn't likely to go through until you're back in the UK. Have you reported the SIM as lost?
