answerphone on digital phone

hi  i am a new member

  my digital landline after over i year is now going straight to answerphone although i is set for 10 rings

and all the messages cannot be deleted  it as new option when going down the menu

Are you able to make calls on the landline? Could you try the troubleshooting on this 'How Can I Repair Faults On My Home Phone Line?' help page please?
