Hi,so its got to that time where my contract has ended, and looking at ee it seems id be saving a considerable chunk compared to the extorionate amount im currently paying with be, now i have logged into BT, seen the option to look at the EE deals, press it,and all i get is, looks like a technical error and to call EE, now i will plan to do that at some point pending when i find some free time as i work nights so im usually asleep when the lines open, and awake once their shut, but i cant understand why i cant see the bloody deals/plan i could move to. I dont want to setup an entirely new account,id rather just have everything transferred over so ease of stress.
Has anyone seen/know any way to make it work,or am i stuck having to call them

Hi @kgmrjordan,
Welcome to the Community!
We want to make getting your new plan as straightforward as possible, so I'm sorry to hear you're not able to view your options and do this online. We will be able to transfer your details over, and get you setup on EE with minimal fuss as you're already a BT customer, but we do have different systems, so it will be a new account.

Yup that makes sense, so calling the number it provides with the error would be the way to go to get everything transferred over correct?

lovely, regarding the transfer from BT to EE, how exactly does that work, what information do they require, as I'm the named person on my BT account, who has authority from the account holder. Is it as simple as a login switch/email or is there more to it

Hey there @kgmrjordan 😊
Whilst it's possible for you to take out a new connection with us in your name and move the service, this would be the same experience as a new customer.
It would most likely need to be the main account holder initiate the transfer in order to get any specific BT to EE migration offers.
