EE Failing Miserably in USA

After meticulously going through a process with EE to get assurance of being able to use my mobile while here in Florida EE has failed on all fronts. Other members of the family here with Vodafone have experienced NO PROBLEMS regarding and making or receiving calls.
All I can do is txt with my roaming. Every call I make gets cut off as the person answers and I get cut off when someone tries to answer calls I am making from here.
can’t even call EE to tell them my problem.
Not impressed!!!

@ict-advisor  Have you tried a manual network search to switch to a different network provider?  Your roaming is obviously setup as you can text.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Good afternoon @ict-advisor.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community!

I'd definitely recommend switching networks like @Chris_B mentioned, as it's not out of the question to face local coverage issues, and some networks will work better in certain areas than others.

Have you given mobile data a try to see if this works, too?

Both my wife and I have just had 2 weeks of exactly the same problems and worse still have been paying £4 per day each for the privilege.  Am in Miami airport now flying to Bogotá and wondering if phones will work there.  I want redress and will be dealing with this as soon as I get home - meantime I can text, and WA and email but not call.  Very infuriating!!!!!

Which local networks were you having issues with?

Just to chip in, I've recently been in the USA, Boston and up to Maine, I have SIM only with Full roaming (ROW) and upon arrival got the EE welcome message, phone (Pixel 8A) logged onto T-Mobile and data worked fine on 4G and 5G but phone calls to voicemail or any other UK number failed everytime, it would dial then give some message about cannot connect to server. This happened in both states on whenever on T-Mobile..the 5G flipped to 4G but could not connect through for voice calls... it dialled, tried then failed, except on 1 occasion out of 25 tries....only when I manually selected Verizon or AT&T would voice calls work, they were then fine every time. Clearly T-Mobile has a serious issue processing 4G voice calls.

More annoyingly I got charged for dozens and dozens of failed calls to my voicemail  (£1.66 each time for multiple failed 5 second calls to EE Voice using +44 7953 222 222 (so much for "use all your UK allowances abroad, Voice, data and Voicemail") - I've raised / complained to EE and they're supposedly cancelling the £50 of charged calls to voicemail as their website info is very misleading....calls to UK voicemail is nothing other than  a money grab.
