An annual inflation-linked price rise is part of your contract, to which you have agreed. If you make manual payments that are under the agreed amount, the underpayments will be added to your following bill and will cause issues sooner or later.

Hi @Lucycat10
To add to @bristolian post you will receive a default on your credit file if you fail to pay the correct monthly amount. That has a wider impact on your credit standing for up to 6 years.
Thanks

@Lucycat10 You’ll be cut off for not paying the amount owed. Eventually, this will pass a debt collector who will then also add on their own fees. So that will be the contract term price and late payment fees and the debt collector fees. You’ll owe more than what you should have been paying.

Hello @Lucycat10
You agreed to the contract when you signed it and it means you agreed to the year price rise. It happens on other phone networks aswell and Broadband Providers.
I would continue paying the full amount till your contract comes to an end. If you don't pay then you will get disconnected from EE's Network and then get put to a Debt Collection agency and your credit file will be ruined for 6 years.

Sue them

Is that your answer for everything? Can't sue EE as they made it perfectly clear what signed up.
Customers should read the Small Print before they agree to a contract. It states in the T's and C's about Annual Price Increase.
