Can anyone tell me, in layman terms, why when I connect my desktop computer to the internet my internet radio drops out, sometime for seconds but sometimes a lot longer or doesn't re-connect at all.
Just recently replaced "old" BT hub etc with new EE hub and ancillary gear-TV box and Smart wi-fi extenders.
Previous set up worked with no problem but new one doesn't, despite check up by visiting EE engineer.

@mrstiggywnkle Have you tried connecting the radio via the Ethernet connection to try to rule out if a wireless wifi problem?

Thanks JimM11. The radio is about 7 to 8 metres away and I do nat have a cable. Also, it seems the available connection at the back of the radio are different. Feels like I will just have to put up with the dropout. This morning- no break in the signal so maybe it has come right!!!

Internet Radio stations can drop out now & then of their own accord even when well connected to WiFi.
