EE Broadband APP WifI Controls not working

I have recently signed up to EE Broadband.   My broadband is working fine, however the APP WiFi controls feature and the Wifi enhancer are not available on the app or via the website.   An error message appears and states it is a problem with EE.  I  have spoken with the technical team at EE on two occasions and they have recommended i reinstall the APP and restart the router.  I have now done this many times and the APP features are still not working.   This is very very VERY frustrating!    I am going in circles with the EE technical team and it is not clear how or if this will be resolved.  EE is not living up to expectations.  If there is an issue, i would prefer EE acknowledge the fault and advise when it will be fixed rather than directing me to do the same thing over and over again (i.e reinstall the app).   Can anybody help?   Is this new feature just a myth?

I think this is a common problem as I have it also and EE are not addressing it as promised. I’ve been waiting over a month with no reply from ee as promised on over fix occasions. It’s one of the reasons I joined them and wished I hadn’t now . 

I’ve been trying to get my devices on the app working for over a month and ee never call back and never rectify the problem

I am also having this exact issue ive even gone as far as upgrading my phone to the s23  and making sure it's got the latest software on restarted the hub multiple times nothing. And I can't get anywhere with tec support. They keep telling me it's a problem their end and they will fix it,but still nothing.

I was told they will release an update to EE app this week but clearly this didn’t happen yet. I think it’s the app that is the problem and that’s what they told me so fingers crossed the update will arrive anytime now…

Yeah same I only got the bloody smart wifi to turn the WiFi off easy on the kids devices when I want them off it.

Also had xbox game pass free with the package I cant use as it won't let me manage anything on broadband. 

I've been with EE for a long time now and have always been awesome. It was literally just until I got this new smart wifi. 

When I first rang to change to the smart wifi from just standard Internet,the girl on the phone sold me the super fast full fibre but left out the smart wifi, which is what I wanted in the first place so had to get on the phone and upgrade the package to smart wifi.

Let's hope so it's a shame they are having this issue as EE have been the best provider for me I still wouldn't go with anyone else. My Internet works perfectly just not the smart bit haha.

I'm also experiencing this issue.

Installed the EE SH this evening, broadband speeds are correct, however the web interface is unable to manage so many things that the BT hub could... can't even rename a device without being forced to use the app.. why is this necessary?

The EE app just throws up a "We can't load this information. Not your fault, it's ours. Try again or give it another go later." when I try to access any sort of smart hub/wifi function. Using an iPhone 15 Pro Max

With great sadness - welcome to the club 😂 We are all awaiting a fix from EE. Possibly an update to the EE app will fix this shortly but there is no update on this yet from my ‘guide’ at EE 😔
