@Lizlevs29 What was involved in the upgrade and what has changed from the original, WiFi calling works well on the EE Smart Hub 6+ version hub wise, cutting out try to stay near the EE Hub when testing it.

Ive had a lot of issues with WIFI calling on all sorts of providers & hubs , its very hit & miss sometimes its great other times its terrible , i have experienced the issues the OP mentions but on pretty much every provider & setup i have had , it goes through google so weather that has a bearing on it or not i cant say , its very much an emergency function for me these days.

@baron75mk3 : Where or how does it go thro' Google?

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Only if you use google voice calls & google Fi Wireless  , but regardless when first enabled on android you have to accept a google agreement of some kind (possibly if you are in the US where they are available ?)  hence "goes through google" ..... in some way ? , i never specified how & does it really matter ? it has no bearing on my reply whatsoever i offered no fix or even tried just a ..Statement  , seems to me there are 1 or 2  bored people here with  nothing better to do than to nit pick others statements to pieces in order to TRY prove how smart they are.

@baron75mk3 : Hence your statement needed some qualification for such rare overseas exceptions.

If it has no bearing then why say it? You said it in public; so it matters!

Thanks, I'm smart ...ing!

Makes no difference whatsoever ....As i offered no fixes or even insight into the issue i simply was stating not to be to quick to blame EE for the issue as i have encountered the same problems as the OP on multiple providers & equipment & also

"weather that has a bearing on it or not i cant say"............witch it may or may not as i said.......I dont know

& that because of the SAME issues as the OP i just use it as a backup solution if the network is down or something.

Also i never said you were smart i said "TRY prove how smart they are" reading & understanding is not your strong point , if it were......this conversation wouldn't be happening , also you decided to come here & decide it was your job to go around correcting others & TRYING make others look bad, i never asked you to tag me did i ?

Do yourself a favor go pick on someone else.....you are nowhere near as smart as you think you are

so next time DONT tag me as if you do? ......ill just ignore you
